It was 46 degrees and sunny at noon.
The kind of January “weather gift” that a runner just cannot resist.
So I layered up (tho I shed the top layer mid-run) and headed out to the river.
And people just came out of the woodwork today, everyone in a spectacular mood. Nodding and smiling to each other.
Kindred spirits all out there playing in what little remained of Saturday’s snowfall.
It felt like more than just a lunchtime run. It felt like being a kid again and running across the field in the sunshine at recess.
And it was awesome.
